Procedure:
1. Mix potassium nitrate with powdered sugar 3:2 ratio in a napkin
2. Take observations
3. Wrap napkin into a little stick
4. Place in beaker
5. Lignite
The mixture reacts aggressively. The endothermic reaction giving out so much heat that it burns and creates a little ash bomb.

Why my fish died
In this lab, we are trying to find out what is the cause that make fishes died.
We make 8 samples, bromothymol blue is added in 4 of them. The temperature was measured in the table below

1. Why do they die? What's your hypothesis?
Answer: because the temperature was too high and the plant can't get enough sunlight
2. What are our variables?
Answer: temperature, pH, O2
3. Which container increased in temperature the most?
Answer:
4. What were the initial temperatures? Are there any increases
Multicolor electrolysis
Acid and Base Indicators Electrolysis
Materials
- Petri dish
- Universal indicators
- Beakers
- Battery
- NaCl
- Electrode wires
Procedure
1. 1 mole of NaCl was measured by the digital weight measurement (58.5 grams)
2. the water was prepared in the beaker and the salt was dissolved in it
3. the universal indicator was added into the solution
4. the wires were connected to the battery with both ends connecting to the solution
5. observe and collect data
Questions
1. Why is the universal indicator green when you first add it?
Answer: because the solution was neutral on that time
2. Why can we use the pencils to run a change
Answer: because can be an electrodes that carries electron
3. What is the color at the cathode?
Answer: purple
4. What is the color at the anode?
Answer: yellow
5. What happens when you place the niobium magnet? Why?
Answer: it creates a magnetic field that make the electrons to form a particular shape
6. What is the equation for the electrolysis of water? Without electrons and volts
Answer: H+ + OH- --> H2O
7. Why can we dump the solution down the drain?
Answer: becuase the products were gases
